Consultation and Site Evaluation

An initial consultation and site evaluation is performed to help further educate the client about on-site power generation and the feasibility of the project. There are many factors that contribute to the viability and overall performance of the system and it is imperative that a thorough site evaluation is performed.

Design

Whether we are designing a 1kw system or a 100kw system, attention is paid to every detail to ensure our clients receive the absolute most production from their system for years to come. It is company policy that our design engineers maintain the highest standards in the industry so you can trust that the photovoltaic system you have installed will meet your desired goals.

Installation

At Beacon Energy Solutions we believe the installation not only should perform as expected, but frankly, it should look good as well. Our installation team firmly believes that each job should be carefully attended to as if it were their own home or business.

System Monitoring

As photovoltaic systems become viable energy alternatives, there is a critical need to ensure that performance can be accurately and easily monitored, managed and controlled.

We have partnered with Fat Spaniel Technologies to provide this service simply because they are the leading provider of critical information services for the renewable energy industry. Fat Spaniel is a web-based interface that consists of dynamic, easy-to-understand graphics and data that can be accessed using any web-enabled device. By transforming raw energy data into a dynamic dashboard view, you are provided with live and historical views of system energy being produced, consumed and returned to the grid.

Maintenance

Although solar energy systems are practically “maintenance free,” some of our clients express a desire for us to complete an annual or semi-annual inspection of the system for optimum system performance. You can expect the following during these routine inspections:

Check all electrical connections
Clean the photovoltaic array(s)
Check for any shading issues from any excessive plant growth
Provide you with our report of findings and corrective actions
